Insights from 2020
The year 2020 was replete with insights – apparently, because a large number of hardships and difficulties "redirect" consciousness from the collateral to the main things.
Here they are; collected in one article.
Time is the matter of the universe, a source, a general outline and a separate composition of knowledge and being, consciousnesses and events.
This is a voluminous huge living ligature of rhythm and rhythms, connecting and separating.
Attempts to "speed up time" are a clear misunderstanding of the relationship with this basic matter, movement and meaning, with this music of life.
Therefore, time is simply located in its original place (everywhere): different-sized, diverse, different-amplituded, different-frequencied, same-and-different; and an attempt to speed up time is broken by this primacy and blurred by it, repelled and passed through by it, articulated and attracted – until the essence of time becomes clear.
From the clarification of this essence becomes clear both the absurdity of such an attempt in terms of achieving a result, and its real effectiveness in terms of comprehending the measure of the essence of time, proportional to the degree of determination of the attempt.
Aggression turns into cognition and thus "leaves" through this transformation – changing the quality with the same "charge".
Pain turns into action and thus "leaves" through this transformation – changing the quality with the same "charge".
Severe pain is a long overdue action.
Strong aggression is a long overdue knowledge.
Trying to "relieve" the pain means interfering with the "ripening" action. Pain relief is "useful" only in the sense of passive comfort and is needed only in case of lack of strength.
Trying to "throw off" aggression by suppressing it means interfering with the "ripening" knowledge. Pacification is "useful" only in the sense of passive comfort and is needed only in case of a lack of cognitive abilities – that is, first of all, attentiveness.
Pain and aggression are the seeds of action and cognition, respectively. If you are attentive in an aggressive state (both your own and those around you), and active in a sick state (both your own and those around you), they will "sprout", having changed. And they will change the stronger and faster, the more you show attention and activity, respectively.
To recover – do a long overdue action. To calm down – satisfy a long-overdue interest.
Here are two halves of one "magic pill": a half with the words "pain –> action" for physical health; half with the words "aggression –> attention" for mental health.
Dreams are always in the past.
Recalled in reality, dream – is a fragment, an island of coherent experience in the sea of visionless dreams. During sleep, the eyes are closed and rest – so the experience of sleep is most often projected visually, by dreaming. In that part of the nervous system that is most free.
Dreams, by and large, are seen by the intestines, which are often even called the "second brain" – so many nerve cells are in it.
That's why one wants to sleep after a hearty meal.
Sleep is the assimilation of food, experience, past.
The rational part of consciousness desperately resists being transferred to sleep, because in accordance with the purpose of both the intestines and sleep, it will be "digested".
Dreams are such a difficult experience to deal with that the subconscious mind cannot assimilate it without conscious intervention, and "shits" it into memory.
The dream, that remained in the memory is a task for consciousness, food for the "higher mind", while being a "belch" of the "lower" one.
The value of dreams comes while rationally, in reality, comprehending, realizing, solving them like a rebus that the subconscious mind has not coped with.
And not in being aware in a dream. This is simply inconvenient – and will, according to the logic of the process, lead to awakening.
"Lucid dreams" is a rare exception, an oxymoron, an uncomfortable state for both consciousness and subconsciousness.
If the unconscious copes with the processing of past experience, you will not see/remember a dream; and if it does not cope, it is better to wake up to solve the complex puzzle of that dream, turning on your mind "to its full extent".
The goal of the practice of lucid dreaming is not to be fully aware in a dream (which is just death, i.e. movement in the reverse flow of time relative to the past experience of life).
You can be successfully conscious either being NOT YOU in your dream (i.e. under a strong external influence on your mind – when the powerful will of another person "leads you" into a trance), or being you in an ALIEN DREAM (i.e. under a strong external influence on your animal instincts) – when the powerful will of other people is "digested" in your past. If NOT you conscious NOT in your dream, the memory will simply reject this information for lack of motive to store it.
An attempt of being aware in a dream is like a parachute jump – a close feeling of danger, a real threat gives a great impetus to further real actions.
An attempt to practice lucid dreaming has (for a living person) meaning only as a tool for more successfully achieving real life goals in the waking state.
The desire to not only see and recall dreams, but also to become aware in them – presupposes a significant strengthening of the "higher mind" relative to the "lower" one.
This (sincere) desire is a symptom, an indicator that your animal instincts are too powerful – therefore, you are most likely unhappy; your life is imbalanced; you (as an animal) can be both deceived and tamed – that's, in general, all the shortcomings of instinct, not balanced by an appropriate amount of reason.
The recommendation that can be given based on this symptom is simple: if you want your dreams to be lucid – start living in a lucid reality. Yes, most likely you will find a lot of lies and manipulations (which can be very difficult to admit) – but getting rid of them (which is impossible without detection) can bring a truly fabulous, like a waking dream, life (compared to the past).
A life in which you sometimes just want to sleep. For relaxation.
In addition to the recommendation, there is also a recipe: stop eating random things. Vegetarianism, diets, therapeutic fasting are just for you, since you are so drawn to the LD. The energy freed from the absence of the need to digest heavy assorted food will allow your consciousness to make useful conclusions.
From a natural precise position – reality, given in sensations – the only thing that can be done when predicting the future is to be mistaken.
The only thing that can be controlled here is the scope and measure of the error.
The future (like the past) is a concept of the mind. Past and future sensations (aftertastes and foretastes) are imprinted in the perception, and, sensing the future with the past, we feel these very imprints.
Predicting the future can be described as shaping a sense of the probable future or reforming it.
But, since the sensation from such a forecast will always be different from the sensations when the moment of the forecast comes (in the first case, the source is the internal model, in the second, the external world), the forecast will always be perceived as erroneous. The sensations are quite different.
Therefore, no matter how many modern technologies and complex formulas are used for forecasting, it will always essentially be a fortune-telling.
People want the divination – to find out the future – after past shocks; scared – cause the old pain has not yet passed.
And "divination" is consonant with the word "division" – i.e. in the process, the predictor initially acts as someone "divided" from the person asking a divination: due to the fact that he or she is given full trust, he or she can break it. And, if we talk about the accuracy of the forecast – on an emotional level, even have to do it. To confront a person with his painful and terrible past experience and let pass through it.
Therefore, any prediction can be emotionally reduced to a couple of phrases similar to the inscription on the ring of King Solomon:
“Yes, sometimes it’s scary and painful. And then it passes. And then it can be again. And if you haven’t learned a lesson from the past, but simply ran away from it, in the future, when this happens again, it will be worse and more painful for you. But if you learned a lesson, and accepted that experience, you can even benefit. And then this will pass: there will be other fears and pains, experiences and benefits."
The foretellers of the ancient world often used rather terrible things for divination – for example, the bones or entrails of animals – because, apparently, they felt: the main purpose of divination is not to tell what will happen, but to remove the fears of a person that block their own instinct.
Each of us has a brain, and therefore is a predictor, fortune-teller, divine one. But, if fear paralyzes the perception, and one "does not want to hear smth" – no correct prediction can be made. Correct not in the sense that it will come true 100%, correct – in the sense of discerning the actual existing tendencies and being able to react to them.
It can be predicted that it will rain. But one cannot predict whether a person will get wet. From the outside – it is possible that it will work out; but the person himself is a secret for himself, simply because he has the freedom to change the outside world and change the inside world. And life itself is free to change itself too.
If a person is afraid of rain, one will get wet regularly. But if you remove the fear of rain (change the inside world) and take an umbrella with you (change your external behavior), the "bad fate of the doomed to get wet" will immediately retreat.
To do this, you just need to cast aside fear and find out what the rain actually is.
And after the sight of a shaman fingering bird guts with a painted face – any "bad weather" may not seem so scary...
This is how a "divination" can "dive" you into the good fortune. That's the point.
P.S. Yes, of course, in the given example, the house of this "man of no rain" could be raised by a storm and carried to the Sahara Desert or the Land of Oz, where there will be no rain. But it is usually easier to take an umbrella than to adapt to the greatly changed contexts of an arid wasteland or fairy land (and a strongly changed context usually gives this "inexplicable magic" feeling from the external environment).
The cost of choosing the father of children for a woman is tremendous. During at least pregnancy and breastfeeding, she is weak, vulnerable and instinctively attached to a weak and vulnerable child.
This choice runs like a thread through the eye of a needle of the fear of death – and not only one's own, but a branchy tree of many descendants' lives.
The fear of death in an almost infinite degree.
It takes tremendous trust to overcome it.
And the easiest way to build trust is to take a candidate for the roles of father and husband through a lot of tricky tests.
Makeup, changing your hairstyle and appearance for an "unpredictable" reason and in an unplanned form – here it is, the fear of death and the desire for life.
The chosen one who will support a woman in any situation will accept her in any form. If the male is not ready for the female's changes, it means that he does not really loves her. And if he's are ready, then there is a good chance that she will accept her pre- and post-birth metamorphoses.
And any makeup – it distorts and hides the woman's sincere beauty. Especially if she is loved. Such is the paradox.
The chosen one should not be confused and deceived by the appearance. About this tells us a popular plot of a fairy tale, where the hero must recognize his betrothed among many ones in some outfits and with closed faces.
The woman's change of makeup, and its "camouflage" (à la guerre comme à la guerre) application is simply a reflection of fear for many lives. Including her own.
Such a "war paint" can only be attracted by "troops" – pleasure-seeking, and, therefore, sufficiently well manipulated male soldiers to fulfill some of her needs.
When communicating with the heart's chosen one, such makeup is just a "uniform", behind which the woman is perfectly visible and which you just want to take off.
Since every human is a living being, one has the property of empathy. Projections onto oneself of the impressions of living beings similar to it, with a real physiological effect.
Imagine that you are slowly chewing a lemon wedge. And now in your mouth is a sweet, large cherry berry.
Did you feel it? And this is just a text... Direct sensations trigger empathy much deeper.
The digestive system is a kind killer that gives life.
Animals are more human-like than plants. So eating an animal creates more traumatic empathetic experiance than eating a plant. Roughly speaking (at the most primitive level) – by eating meat you seem to be eating yourself at the level of deep rough sensations.
Since death is the strongest fear, the body's empathic sensitivity automatically drops in order to save itself from harm. But without a good sensivity would a hunter track down the next prey? It gets harder each time, even if it's initially good.
Vegetarianism seems to be an excellent solution here, but it will be longer (due to the smaller amount and balance of the necessary elements in plants) both in terms of digestion and in terms of the process of food consumption itself.
Cows chew grass for almost half a day. Attention goes into digestion, and it is so easy not to notice the hunter lurking in the bushes.
Is there a solution? Yes. The truth is in wine, literally. A vat of fermenting wine is an "outsourced" stomach. Kind killer bacteria save time for the kind killer stomach. And a small addition of meat food ("snacks") will add the necessary substances to balance.
Alcohol is just a complement for meat.
Alcohol also has a strong influence on the emotional sphere of a person, "lowering" empathy for a chicken killed "for a snack".
If you skillfully combine two evils: an alcohol potion evil and a dead creature evil, a good dinner will come out. It is important that two evils (or more evils) balance each other.
Yes, you can do without various kinds of evil. But this will be the life of a cow on a walk under the control of an evil so cunning that the cow will not even notice – the attention is almost completely on a stomach...
Love evil "potions" – remembering that it always needs a motley evil company for balance! Use it as well as a powerful solution to balance and "heal" an already "evil" kinds of situations.
The following thought experiment, formulated in one question, seems to be an excellent test of business partners:
"Would you give your daughter to such a man as a wife?"
The situation is considered imaginary – the actual presence of a daughter and the actual matrimonial interests of your potential business partner may or may not be present.
But the emotions that trigger your imagination will help you to know for sure whether it is worth dealing with this person.
Develop your imagination and ask yourself: will you take a shotgun at some point to chase the unenviable groom out of the house? Or, having become related, from time to time you will go hunting with him, trusting your back *to his* shotgun?
Why does a person need shame?
A childish attitude to adult needs brings a person down to the level of an animal.
A sex addict will be constantly "unfairly" humiliated and used by other people – after all, he or she only looks human. And when they stroke her "pussy" or caress his "snake" – ne will have no choice but to purr or wriggle.
The sex addict will constantly have difficulty building a family. It is sex addicts who build with their herd the very statistics of pregnancy-driven marriages and divorces after child's birth.
A sex addict will only be able to find a labour job – for some reason they never hire one as a manager, although one is very much offended by this, he or she takes offense at the animal and occasionally (usually drunk) demonstrates purely bestial superiority over the boss (for which is usually fired).
A sex addict simply does not understand that the need for reproduction is different from the need for shelter and food. It presupposes not only the right, but also the duties – and one must not only to be able to cope with these duties, but also actual factual be coping with them every day non-stop.
In general, the right to satisfy any need presupposes some job – but for a sex addict, who remains a child in the body of an adult, this becomes especially obvious in the case of sex.
If such an infant persists in the belief that he or she *should* have sex, and should not do anything for this, then the society around gently, but quite decisively (for educational purposes) begins to deprive the possibilities of satisfying his or her other needs.
A sex addict who is persistent in his parasitic behavior is slowly "going through" life.
The sex addict also sometimes pesters people around with his or her "wishlist" – therefore, one is surrounded by manipulators rather than friends. One is a shameless manipulator too.
In one's friendly company it is good only in joy: such "friends" usually get different kinds of animal pleasure together, calling it rest. In trouble, however, such friends "scatter", easily betraying the appearance of friendship.
The sex addict did not see real friendship, being an animal; and therefore, people in his or her social circle do not stay for a long time, and one friendly company changes to another.
Sincere, open communication with such "people" is almost impossible – therefore, "friends" usually take alcohol and other drugs together in order to somehow liberate themselves.
It is difficult for such a person to expose weaknesses in front of his or her "friends", because one is (rightly) afraid that they, like animals, will take advantage of this – and therefore a sex addict often strikes at self-development and becomes a client of psychologists.
At the same time, both guru and psychologists for that kind of person in the majority also turn out to be manipulators, more insidious and subtle. But useful manipulators – the more apartments sex addict donates to the sect and the more monthly salaries he or she gave to the psychotherapist, the better one understands the simple:
"If you have adult needs, you are an adult. Unlike a child, meeting the needs of an adult must be deserved. The freeload ended with the first erection (or menstruation). The race is got by running."
And a person begins to work: cook food, build houses, liberate, entertain, teach, heal – finally receiving (in the process) a logical consequence and a well-deserved reward: loyal friends and beloved family.
And fabulous sex, yes – moreover, a person begins to experience close to sexual satisfaction in the process of his own work.
The whole life of a person (instead of a porn film) becomes one big occupation with Love. If you add to it the flow of work, a barrel of responsibility and a drop of healthy shame.
Life is like a supermarket: take whatever you want, but you have to pay for everything you've took.
Doing only what you want, indulging all your desires, is the shortest path to your personal lifetime underworld.
You can only get out of it by building your persona.
This path "down" is usually accompanied by a deep, "reinforced concrete" confidence in one's own "independence" and "freedom."
At the same time, a person walking along this path *for some reason* ignores reminders that reality is an open system (where everything depends on everything in one way or another), and absolute freedom is death.
Freely and independently going to the underworld can attach obsessive, excessive importance to health, proper nutrition, technologies of rejuvenation, etc. – on this basis, it is quite easy to detect such a route.
This route, however, is quite natural at a certain period of life – because it is nothing more than a teenage rebellion (which, however, can happen at 13, 30, and even at the age of "sugar daddy").
Passing through personal hell, a person in the process of this rebellion commits quite certain mistakes (which religions often call sins), hard and harsh learning from them.
The meaning of the journey is to get to your own ultimate depth (which religions call "hell"), and "push off from its bottom" – having found support, an inner core, a basement.
Complete the BECOMING.
And swim out of the depths of the personal school of loneliness and suffering named after oneself – upward, into the "paradise" life.
Full of interdependencies and varying degrees of lack of freedom – but, paradoxically, this is why it is so pleasant and "divine".
Freedom as an inherent value and goalin itself is deceptive. It is similar to the desire of the "eternal schoolchild" to spend the whole life to "repeat the year".
So, in fact, the persistent desire for "freedom" drives into one of the very, very unfree, rigid and painful "hellish circles".
Earthly, of course.
A freedom lover who indulges one's desires can become hardened, perceiving the real structure of the world and universal unity as a challenge – and due to this plunging into ever lower circles, with increasingly harsh lessons and conditions.
Such a "know-it-all", wise one with a lot of absolutely hellish experience, becomes either a tyrant-narcissistic-psychopath, involving others in a merciless struggle with reality, "luring" them, acting as an involuntary tempter.
What is most interesting, that kind of people are fully convinced that the "war" is good, you just need to push a little more, and...
Or this wise traveler becomes a guide, mentor and helper for those who have passed a path that is smaller in depth (and height – they, like everything in the universe, are interdependent).
Of course, these roles can be alternated. But, in general, there is a very simple choice towards one of these two directions:
"Freedom or happiness"
Why is rebellion and freedom naturally chosen by the "teenager"?
This is not only and not so much freedom *for* something.
This is, first of all, freedom *from* – the oppressive family cocoon of no-longer-a-child; the protective programs and instructions that "pinch" like a shell of an egg pinches a hatching chicken.
Although earlier they used to be protective and useful.
The harder the "shell", the subjectively more difficult and deeper is a path to personal hell – to the formation of one's own person.
Caring mothers who buy large apartments in the city center for their over-aged "kids" should understand and remember this.
After all, happiness becomes possible only after the complete exit from the parental "shell" and establishing in the external world.
"Paradise" and "parade" are consonant words. And "parade" means something public, something out-of-the-box and out-og-the-shell, right?
This happy feeling (and state) of "personal paradise" is quite attainable in life – if you make the appropriate choice; twice: first – to the bottom – in one direction, and then – to the peaks – in the another.
Events occur when there is more than one reason for this.
A universal answer with a question to a question
It is considered impolite to answer a question with a question.
However, there is a question that is a universal answer; and can be especially useful when you do not know the answer to the question you have been asked – or it seems ambiguous and difficult.
The universal answer-question is:
"What do you believe in?"
Well, i.e .:
— What about X?
— What do you believe in?
— I don’t understand, X or Y?
— What do you believe in yourself?
— When is X Y Z?
— What do you believe about Y Z X?
P.S. Sometimes you just need to be with this question. It may take time to get an answer to it (as well as to any first question that provoked it).
The basic principle of any living being is selectivity. The more selective it is, the more strong and lively it is.
It is due to selectivity that life resists the flow of entropy – to achieve the desired.
There are many enemies, you are one.
It is more profitable to "grow" yourself than to defeat one definite enemy. While upgrowing, you gain victory over many.
Struggling and conquering one, are you actually winning?
When participating in any game (activities within a certain "field" and "rules"), it is important when performing in-game actions and setting in-game goals, first of all, to perform actions and be guided by the goals of the metagame (life).
Do not get absorbed in playing! Remember yourself!
1) During your lunch break you play with your boss his favorite game – say, chess. And you understand – you can easily win. But the boss is freaked out by his superiors, he is tired – and if you "kick" him now, he will either start making mistakes (which is inconvenient) or get angry (which is unpleasant). Therefore, from the point of view of the metagame of life, the goal in a chess game will be not to win (as it stands from the game rules), but to lose – softly and tactfully.
2) You are driving along the road, you need to move left. Night, the road is empty, there are no controlling cameras. Solid double line. For moving to the left according to the rules – you need to make a 1.5 km long detour, and the store will close soon. Therefore, from the point of view of the metagame of life, the rule will not be "to avoid crossing the solid double line", but "to turn left crossing the solid double line".
The feeling that your life is the _one_metagame_ – allows you to subtly and accurately make decisions of any complexity at any moment in time.
And, in fact, to live.
Meaning of life
It seems that people who are looking for the meaning of life do not really want to live.
Even a fable has morality at the end, and, in fact, the fable is terminated by it. Morality? – Reading is over. Well, let's say you've found the meaning of life – why then live? The meaning has already been found, that's it, the fairy tale is over.
In addition, life is not a fable, it's be more complex. There can be several meanings of life; they can arise and fall like waves in different parts of it – and in general, be fundamentally inexpressible in a precise rational sense; in words too, even more.
People who ask about their meaning in life are often tired of pulling the hateful strap of *someone else's meaning*. Therefore, the best – paradoxically – answer to such a question would be:
"Throw away all other people's unnecessary meanings of life – and your own one will come, will somehow be formed."
In addition, something really significant and real in life (as well as its "meaning"), basically, cannot be purely "one's own" – like the air that we constantly breathe in and out – is it your own or not?
And we are alive – while we breathe.
Therefore, do not hesitate to share "your" meaning of life with someone else. Thus, one can not only give strength to this meaning, but also inadvertently find happiness – state, in which the question of the "meaning of life" will simply not arise.
Just live, let's face it.
Some separate, special, pathetic phenomenon called "extrasensory perception" simply does not exist in its pure form.
There is "sensory perception" – that's, in fact, the usual sensitivity, which all of us have to some extent. "Extra" – appears when the difference in sensitivity is big, or when someone who is not "extra" simply pays less attention to one's own sensations.
Thinks that it "just eyes playing tricks", "trippin", etc.
Similarly, a musician can say about a programmer that he or she has "extra-logic", a programmer about a musician – that he or she has an "extra-harmonic", etc.
Any such "extra" is a matter of inclinations, inner choice and persistence.
As for the mystical "flair" – then any good specialist, attentive to his work and loving it, always seems to be a bit of a magician.
Musician, cook, programmer, driver, teacher, doctor ... And "psychic" too – it's just that for this kind of activity, names without the prefix "extra-" are not very popular.
Maybe because in a "psychic"'s work (if he or she, of course, consults) one often has to act in one way or another as all of the above :)
Calling something a "fiction", under this label you can give out in the information field a lot of completely real facts – without worrying about their "combing" and embellishment.
That's just a "fiction", don't take it very much to heart. The main thing is to choose the odd picky names and exotic, marvellous context.
The "fiction" genre unties the hands of the authors. And the masters of this genre stuff books, like ancient chests or futuristic safes, to the brim with powerful tools of psychotechnics, gold of life's truths and precious amulets of exquisite, rare sensations.
The Internet devalues written knowledge – books, speech, opinions.
The Internet devalues visual creativity – paintings, films, drawings.
All of this is becoming affordable – but what is affordable has a lower price tag. A leaf of a tree outside your window – how much does it cost? Nothing at all. It's available.
But for a leaf of a tree from somewhere from other side of the globe, you can already get a price from some collector, chemist or botanist.
We are all drawn to the rare and difficult to access. It has value and weight – something unique. Something that is difficult to repeat, copy, get.
What we value we make less accessible to others. We lay hands on, we keep, protect and preserve.
The Internet, in fact, is a technology for copying certain forms and types of information. A large copier that makes information *accessible*.
If you want to devalue something, post it on the Internet.
The Internet also has its advantages. Thanks to it, all the Internet users are like neighbors; looking at the browser screen, we look as if in one window.
If you want to show something, convey something to everyone, post it on the Internet. Yes, it could lose some *value*. But it will become obvious.
The Internet is a giant mouthpiece. It is suitable for making some kind of announcement.
The Internet is a beautiful folding-screen. And you can't put everything here.
There must be something behind the screen. Otherwise, the posted will remain ... on the Internet. Devalued, screaming across thousands of minds.
The less often you speak, the more they listen to you. The Internet – this huge copier and giant mouthpiece – teaches you to be silent about the main thing. Because by virtue of its device it is intended only for one thing.
Explicit and implicit advertising.
Success doesn't share its secrets. This is good for oneself, because increases the value, solidity and size of the success one have achieved.
Failure shares its secrets. It is good for others, because they can learn from history, learn from the mistakes of others and come to success.
If you share the secrets of success, it can provoke "copiers" to devalue success with their low-quality work, and envious people - to destroy it.
If you hide the secrets of failure, it will make it difficult for others - even involuntarily - to help you explore the failure in its entirety, and therefore to get a chance to overcome this failure (from the outside it is more convenient and faster to do it; well, see "we see a mote in our brother's eye but do not see the beam in our own")...
Success comes when a person learns how to open up the darkest and most painful corners, and keep in secret the brightest and most joyful things.
IX, Veiled Lamp. This is the meaning of the Hermit tarot arcanum and the essence of the image of the veil and veiling as such.
Belief is like the pressure of water. Putting in a strong belief in something, you can break it.
Water hammer is a powerful phenomenon.
It's better to start believing slowly.
Belief can disappear – when "droplets at the joints of pipes" are found. In this case, the benevolent believer will "block" the flow to fix the leaks – unless by believing he plans to destroy these pipes.
If he plans to destroy, he will believe to the end.
Therefore, while affirming something, be grateful to the small, careful stream of belief in this statement.
If you speak with great confidence about something that you yourself are not very confident about – the belief of those around you can "break the pipes" of what you are talking about.
