Any insight or revelation is nothing more than a powerful banality.

In the sense, that the essence of insight is quite obvious, and miraculously escaped the «prophet»'s field of vision until this very «revelation».

I don’t vouch for the accuracy, but there is something like this by the authorship of Niels Bohr: «If a scientist cannot explain to a five-year-old child what he is doing, he is a charlatan.» So, insight is the moment when the inner scientist explains something to the inner child so successfully that even he himself becomes clear.

Receiving such revelations is extremely exciting, very rewarding, and completely normal. It is worth remembering, however, that for someone your revelation will not be a revelation at all. So, banality.

And testify rather not to the power of «inner discovery», but to the tremendous ignorance that you had before.

To share a revelation is to make a fool of yourself quickly and reliably. Talking about what you learned, you automatically admit that you did not know it before.

Therefore, it is better to share insights with nearest and dearest, not with a wide range of people.

That is, the same «fools» in the field of «revalation», like you.

Those close to you are usually like you – which means that, like you, they will only benefit from that insight.

How's going? All good, or just in love with duct tape and WD-40?
